Please Start! Racing Team finished 3rd in Class, racing over 400 miles at 24 Hrs of LeMons.  We have retired the Plymouth Acclaim and are working on a Mitsubishi Eclipse for the 2011 race season.  This year my father joined the team as a driver and Jessica, Alex & Austin joined the pit crew.
Amanda
Is working at Studio 921 in Baltimore and has moved back home to save for her own house.  She is still dating Rich, who earned his 6th degree black belt in Martial Arts this year.
Her career is booming (make an appointment!!) and she didn’t get a single traffic violation/ bang up her car (she listed that as a dig to her mother who on the other hand had more than one bang up in her car — – and others’ cars . . . )
Amber
lives in Annapolis with Jesse, her boyfriend who works at Toys R Us in Annapolis.  Amber is working at Toys R Us in Owens Mills and Columbia and studying to be a Massage Therapist at Anne Arundel Community College.  She has been on the Dean’s List her entire college experience.  She got a 93% on her mid-term the same week she worked 73 hours.  She is thrilled to have earned a platinum trophy on the PS3 – so did Jesse.  She got four speeding tickets all at the same spot.  She completed the Iron Girl this year with her mother.  She didn’t train a single minute – but still finished!!!
Alex
As we write this letter, he is very hungry and thirsty and says he does nothing and has accomplished nothing.  In other words, he’s a typical teenager with teenage attitude.  His family shares that he attends Howard High School for three periods – Food and Nutrition, Concert Chorus, and Lifetime Fitness.  Then he comes home for home school, volunteers at the Y or works at Columbia Triathlon Association (yup, a paid job – how cool is that?)  He is trying out for the wrestling team at school, swims at the Y, and is excited about starting drama in January with Drama Learning Center.  He attended Howard High’s Homecoming with his girlfriend Grace.
He learned how to ride a bike this year and hopes to ride his bike back and forth to school.
Austin
Attends The Columbia Academy (new school for him) where he is in a class of ten students.  His parents are loving the private school environment – it’s a great match for Austin.  Goes to church.  Ran about five 5Ks including a personal record of 33 minutes and ten seconds.  He was in the plays Grease and Peter Pan.  His favorite roles are the roles where he makes the audience laugh.  He earned his gold belt in Martial Arts and is studying at the school where Rich, Amanda’s boyfriend works.  He is learning self-defense and is hoping to earn his black belt one day.
Please see below for pictures of us from this year and our activities.
Have a happy healthy holiday season!!  Let us hear how you are doing please!!
